Style Your Man!
Most of the time, guys just don’t seem to understand fashion. They wear the first thing that they pick up out of the wardrobe, with little thought involved as to the colour, the cut, or the function their clothing will serve throughout the day! If they’re lucky, they might have a woman in their life to help them dress appropriately. If that’s you, then here are a few helpful tips for styling your man, so that you can walk beside him without constantly worrying about what he’s wearing!
If he loves jeans, which most guys inevitably do, make sure that he buys good quality ones. Jeans are made for comfort as well as style and are the most versatile item in any man’s wardrobe, as they can be worn with almost anything. Jeans can be the height of casual clothing when combined with a t-shirt, or can be combined with a shirt for a smart-casual look. However, cheap jeans not only look just that – cheap – they also usually have short shelf lives and will succumb to wear and tear very quickly.
Checked shirts are very popular in men’s fashion this summer. Shirts may have been considered a smart piece of clothing for some time, but are now being worn casually, on their own or sometimes on top of t-shirts as work shirts. Checked shirts look great with jeans or trousers, and are now being sold in the majority of high street stores in a variety of colour combinations. Black on red is a popular choice.
Finally, hoodies for men, like jeans, are one of those items that can be worn for almost any occasion and with anything. Although on women hoodies usually embody casual style, guys can get away with them with slightly more formal outfits as well. There are also now quite a few hoodies for men that are designed to be a little less casual and more styled, so if you manage to find one it would be a great addition to the male wardrobe.
